Looks to me like Senator John McCain should be investigated rather that Susan Rice over the Benghazi attack in Libya. McCain poses as a war hero but there seems to be more indicators he sold out. Right now he’s acting like a total crybaby and I don’t think he’s got over the 2008 election. He used to be on the slightly sane side but he’s totally crazy these days. He’s the guy who brought us Sarah Palin and voted for Condi Rice when she brought false testimony about nukes in Iraq that got millions killed.

  1. George says:

Where did you drag this video out from? Bob Dornan hasn’t been a member of Congress in this century. I think Clinton was president when this was made.

Susan Rice either lied or repeated disinformation fed to her by the administration. Barry is pretending to stand behind her because they are being caught in a coverup and if he throws her under the bus, she may talk.

    • stormtrooper 651 says:

The reason the Dems used either blacks or women puppets in all 5 key roles was so they could deflect any genuine criticism as being “racist” or “sexist”.

      • stormtrooper 651 says:

The second line of defence is to label any critic as “crazy”.
Third line of defence is endless juvenile name calling and “big bird” type distractions.

        • stormtrooper 651 says:

Then, out and out lies and bullshit, along the lines of Perkel’s bullshit fantasy “that got millions killed” writing.

          • Phydeau says:

Dude, thanks for providing a valuable public service to the country. As long as Republicans and right-wingers are as hateful and bigoted as you, there’s no way they’ll get back into power. Keep on doing your thing! 🙂

  2. MikeN says:

Barry says they should come after me, not the UN Ambassador who has nothing to do with the story. That reveals a lot right there. They put her up, because she didn’t know anything, like a press secretary. Used her credibility as the UN ambassador to lie to the people. When Obama is asked questions about it, he ducks.

Bigger story is why are liberals attacking those who criticize the president?

    • shooff says:

Because liberals one and fat rich dicks like Limbaugh and Beck have repeated one lie after another since Clinton.

Look at it this way. The last election a republican won “fair and square” was 1988.

The people have spoken…..Shut up greedy, drug addicted dicks.

  3. John McCain needs an ear horn and a change of his depends. Meanwhile, I hope Obama nominates Susan Rice for SecState and dares the GOP to vote against her.

    • Mextli says:

Yeah maybe he will double dare them. That’s the first grade level of discourse doing something like that would show.

  4. Dick Higdon says:

Vietnam is spelleed wrong in your headline.

  5. Pocono Charlie says:

=He’s the guy who brought us Sarah Palin and voted for Condi Rice when she brought false testimony about nukes in Iraq that got millions killed.=

Seriously? You mean the false testimony about Iraq that the UN, the UK, Sens. Clinton & Kerry, et al all echoed? That false testimony?

    And millions??

  6. Grandpa says:

Strange. I have always thought McCain was a little screwy. But, this is one time I tend to agree with him. Is she really the person we want to replace Clinton?

  7. Uncle Patso says:

The paranoid fantasies that some of these arguments are based on are sounding more and more like the rantings of an anencephalic idiot. Many of them will be quoted as examples in the next issue of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Realistically, people, World Net Daily, Matthew Drudge, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck et al. are not factual reporters but polemicists, intent on pushing their agenda, not disseminating knowledge. If Paul Harvey were alive today, he would look at the quality of “reporting” coming from today’s Right and throw up. Even Russia Today (rt.com) and the Times of India try to hew closer to fact than the farrago that passes for news from these paranoid fantasists.

  8. MikeN says:

Now Petraeus is saying the talking points for Susan Rice were edited by someone in the White House. In other words, ‘The intelligence was fixed around the policy.’

    • Gwad his own self says:

Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.

The timing of all these events leads me to believe that 7/8th of this story is still underwater.

Don’t make this a partisan issue, more likely this is military vs. administration. (Bi-partisan, they’re all crooks.) Turn on the lights and the roaches scatter.

  9. Phydeau says:

If you want the full story from Sydney Schanberg:

    http://www.theinvestigativefund.org/investigations/politicsandgovernment/1013/mccain_and_the_pow_cover-up/

I have always believed the MIA thing was a myth, but I have to admit, if it really was true, both the US and the Vietnamese government would cooperate in covering it up:

In a private briefing in 1992, high-level CIA officials told me that as the years passed and the ransom never came, it became more and more difficult for either government to admit that it knew from the start about the unacknowledged prisoners. Those prisoners had not only become useless as bargaining chips but also posed a risk to Hanoi’s desire to be accepted into the international community.

It may just be paranoid fantasy, but since both governments would be damaged if it ever came out, even if it is true, it will never come out.

  10. msbpodcast says:

Why did McCain get the corporate backing he did?

Because he was an easily duped, shell-shocked imbecile could be fed the questions to ask, instead of the answers to provide.

An examination of the facts in his possession would reveal a level of ignorance as deep and as fundamental as that underlying Akin’s legitimate rape comments.

The 1%ers, (people who lucked out and had others work to earn them their money/power/influence,) who cluster under a repube banner get in trouble with facts and fact checkers because those things only matter to an intelligent and informed electorate, (and they aren’t after those people, [but they should never be revealed as ignorant as their target voters.])

  11. bobbo, one true Liberal recognizing Obama is too far Right says:

It is all summed up with McCain going on air to “Demand Answers” while missing a special committee briefing on the issue.

    POLITICIAN = LIAR.

I listen to politicians, including Obama, almost NEVER. Whatever truth is uttered is just a coincidence to the larger game of power being played by both sides. They all “used to” keep at least a pinky on what was best for America, or was that a lie too?

    Embrace the Horror.

  12. Captain Obvious says:

John McCain is doing an intervention with Lindsay Lohan, right?

  13. Harry says:

    Get off my grass!!!

  14. Dallas says:

    Newsflash from reliable news sources

“Benghazi gate not going as Republicans wanted and a failure to gain traction on their narrative is further compelling Republicans to hysterics. Since they drew so much attention to this issue, courtesy of the need to defend Romney’s Libya debacle just hours after the attack, the media is now paying attention just in time to catch the GOP crazy in full bloom.”

  15. noname says:

Typical Retardican behavior! Quick to point fingers elsewhere, never realizing three are pointing back at them!

It’s not the truth they want, it just political points they hope to score!

It is very sad American life was unnecessarily lost in Benghazi, but; if the Retardican really do care about American life and protecting it, then why don’t they investigate the purposeful and orchestrated lies that got America into IRAQ!

Bush is not in office, SO no one is talking about going into a WAR because of Benghazi, as it should be. Keeping America out of unnecessary wars and protecting the truth from political WAR crazed CHICKEN HAWKs is more useful and intelligent then harping on and on about honest mistakes.

  16. Captain Obvious says:

McCain is off the Armed Services Committee in January. He wants something important to do for the next couple of years. A special committee fits the bill.

  17. Supreme Ultrahuman (I see the comment system is still designed for retards.) says:

Buwhahahaha, Marc thinks McCain is sore over 2008.

Sorry, It was obvious to anyone conscious that McCain intentionally tanked in 2008. He got exactly what he wanted.

Hell, It’s all a show. In a fair and unbiased world, a pail of brown liquid or even a plate of Spam beat Obama.

Cover your ass as best you can, and sit back and enjoy the show. It’s for your benefit after all.

  18. Joe says:

    How many died? Millions! Really?

  19. Joe says:

That video is tin foil hat material.

  20. Glenn E. says:

The sliminess didn’t end with McCain’s Vietnam military career. He later was part of the “Keating Five”, who saw to it that Charles Keating’s Lincoln Saving and Loan would not be investigated, during the whole S&L debacle in 1989.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keating_five

Again, McCain’s military clout probably got him off, along with Senator John Glenn.

And BTW, George H.W. Bush’s son Neil Bush, was also a director of a failed Savings and Loan. But guess who, got him off with a light fine? And a Republican fund raiser even bailed him out of that!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neal_Bush

The GOP sure seems to have a lot of expensive skeletons in closets, at the taxpayers’ expense.

    • MikeN says:

McCain was innocent in Keating 5. Republicans wanted to drop him and one of the Democrats from the list, but Dems wouldn’t go for it because it would leave only Dems on the list. So in the name of bipartisanship, McCain was linked to the Keating 5 scandal. McCain never forgave his fellow Senate Republicans, and he has been bashing them ever since.

  21. Glenn E. says:

It’s interesting how the mainstream media broadcast the accusations of the so-called “Swift Boat” veterans, that ruined Senator Kerry’s chance to take the Presidency away from George Bush Jr. But the very same media can’t be bothered to air any of these anti-McCain veterans accusations. I’m surprised they’re even left up on Youtube. I bet it won’t be there for long. Save it while you can.

    • MikeN says:

Kerry’s campaign ended up agreeing with the Swift Boat Veterans. That he probably didn’t deserve one of the purple hearts, and that he did initially speed away from the fight before coming back and rescuing the guy out of the water. But of course the Swift Boat Veterans were just liars.

  22. deowll says:

I agree that Susan Rice isn’t worth blaming for going on the air five times in one day and telling total lies to the American people after all she was just doing what the WH told her to do just like the President recently said. Anyone who wasn’t a total nincompoop knew she was just following orders just as they were knew they were being lied to. There was more than enough evidence out there to make that clear.

I mean you have to be pretty ignorant not to figure out that an attack on 9/11, the anniversary of the defeat of the forces of Islam at Vienna and the date of the take down of the twin towers, was picked at random. The attack had obviously been planned for some time. The Libyans made it clear from the beginning that it was Islamic jihadist from day one and of course the WH has a habit of telling lies about anything relating to jihad.

Jihad began at the behest of Allah during the life of Mohammad the prophet and it will not end until the last infidel dies or submits. Okay so if they insulted Mohammed or disrespected Allah by saying there is no God they may have to die anyway.

  23. Guy Tanzer says:

I don’t recall the Kerry campaign ever agreeing with the Swift Boat Veterans Lying For Cash. I do remember the editor of the Chicago Tribune (one of the most conservative papers in the US) saying the Swift Boaters were totally off the beam, and said editor was a former US Army bird colonel who served in Vietnam. A source back to the Kerry campaign website, or some other source to see where the Kerry campaign “agreed” with those disgraceful von Munchausen Syndrome sufferers would certainly be interesting to see.

I’ve also never heard that McCain was innocent in the Keating 5 scandal. Again, some real-life source material backing that….. odd contention would be interesting to see.

I *am* curious to know why this is such stink-worthy material. The original 9/11 killed 2,900 Americans right here on US soil after warning signs were ignored by a President on a month-long vacation. Obama would have been impeached within weeks if that had happened on his watch. There were no fewer than seven attacks on US embassies and consulates between 2002 and 2008 – but George W. Bush was President, so who cares? Ronald Reagan managed to lose 241 marines at one crack in Beirut in 1983 – the biggest single-day loss for the Corps since Okinawa – and that was basically no problem. Never mind his kowtowing to the Iranian terrorists – one can imagine the reaction if Jimmy Carter had tried to free Iranian hostages by giving Ayatollah Khomeini weapons.

  24. Dick_Cheney says:

    McCain isn’t a hero.

  25. Abe Lincoln says:

McCain has a long list of ethical indiscretions. His latest witch hunt against Susan Rice shows just how big of a hypocrite he is after he defended Condi Rice and the whole WMDs in Iraq fiasco. That little mistake cost the lives of thousands of Americans and many more Iraqi civilians. He should resign and just go away.
