“Freemium Reporter.” No clue as to what this podcast is about. Starts off quickly about Credit Scores. I get spam email every other day about these created bait and switch fraud generators.
Sad that Consumer Protection in America is so “Industry Oriented” that these Credit Scores are so abusive. So–I was gonna listen and mark any good comments for this here post. Kudo’s and Krabs. But what the HEY!!!! The mp3 player does not have the elapsed time for me to note.
So, I stopped listening. I refuse to be a passive consumer.
Give me a credit score of ZERO—or One Hundred, depending on the scale?
And what’s your point or is active rambling your point?
Several Points:
1. Why should anyone spend any time at all to listen to a program to just find out what it is about? Talk about preaching only to a groupie fan base. The Art or Headline should be some kind of clue but here it is “Freemium Reporter.” What is that? Reporters who go to trade shows more to get the free stuff or rub elbows with the glitterati rather than the subject of the show…. or what?
2. But I enjoy a good conversation, the banter, the give and take, the bon motes, so I thought: OK, give it a try and make a sample outline and post if for others to follow. Can’t do it. Last time I listened to the show I got an mp3 player with a counter on it… you know.. so you could listen in segments then go do something else then come back and know where you left off or to tell others of a good, or bad, section starting at xyz minutes. Can’t do that anymore.
3. So, its like the show is now purposefully designed to limit its appeal only to brain dead followers of the show. Thats a model. But the brain dead will by definition follow whatever you put out there. Why not appeal to and capture those who are only interested in a segment or two?
Screw them. Ok… I get it. I’ll stop trying to like the show. I will enjoy the 5 seconds it takes to review the art. Probably now it will be a blank screen to a link for those to spend time linking to to see if they like it or not?
Thats the trend line.
I think it’s time for an intervention.
Now, that’s Art.
