AWOL
AWOL Action Figure

AWOL Project — Interesting project put together by some independent guy. Hardly compares to the Swift Boat effort, but worth a look. A little late in the game.

The Bush documents also reveal that Bush’s personnel files were tampered with to disguise what had occurred, and that the White House (and the Bush campaign in 2000) has consistently lied about the nature of the records, and made claims regarding Bush’s obligations as a member of the United States Armed Forces that have absolutely no basis in fact

For the past four years, Bush and his supporters have done everything in their power to obscure the facts concerning Bush’s military service. This series will reveal those facts, and in the process, reveal the character of George W. Bush, and those who defend and support him.

Are we such cattle that we will perpetually talk about John Kerry’s Vietnam service and Bush’s failure to honor his guard duty instead of talk about the issues.

Case in point, the Bush convention speech = lame. No new ideas; just more of the same tax breaks for businesses and such. Blah, blah, blah.

And Kerry doesn’t even think he needs to EARN you vote; all he does is talk about how he was in Vietnam and have yet to hear ANY concrete campaign promises.

So we have Bush, who put forward no vision for the next 4 years, and Kerry who doesn’t talk about anything of substance.

All these negative campaign ads are stupid; I did find the Swift Boat ads funny if only because Kerry couldn’t shut up about how he was in Vietnam.

Yet, even knowing Kerry faked his first purple heart, I’d still consider voting for Kerry. What person in their right mind wouldn’t have wanted to get F out of Vietnam?

Bush or Kerry, whoever actually proposing some good ideas get my vote, so far I am been SOOOO disappointed with both campaigns, but especially Kerry’s since he is the challenger and needs to make the case that he deserves the job.

  2. Okay, this truly is hilariously on target.

For once Mr. Anonymous, I agree with you. Both candidates and both parties leave something to be desired.
