Let’s just blame everything on Global warming. One bad year and the reason? Global warming, of course. Hillary Swank two-time academy award winner? Global warming caused it. And they say that the media doesn’t really have an agenda.

ZURICH, March 1 (Reuters) – A deadly combination of global warming and a rapidly increasing world population made 2004 the most expensive year to date for insurers, a Swiss Re study published on Tuesday shows.

An unusually high number of storms in the United States and Japan, December’s devastating tsunami waves and other natural and man-made catastrophes killed more than 300,000 people last year, causing massive damages of $123 billion.

It’s 27.5 degrees F here at base camp. So I’m not exactly quaking in my boots about global warming. Maybe the problem is that it should be 17.5 degrees F and nobody bothered to readjust the global thermostat. Global warming seems like as good of a thing to make everybody a nervous wreck as any of the other global problems. This is more of the same from the designing politicians. They design a crisis, have a bunch of global conferences, travel the world giving speeches and nobody is any closer to the solution because they are farther from home. Look forward to more books, more senate debates, more fire, more ice and more scary stories. Maybe it’s a big problem and talking about it will make it look bigger. I’m sure writing about it isn’t going to make it better. There is also the global cooling problem and I’m willing to wait until hell freezes over for the answer to that one. We care about the climate. Save the global village and pray for an Indian miracle. It’s freezing outside and only the snowmen and Jack Frost are happy around here. The entire planet around me here is white and cold. Maybe it will be white and hot next week. I think I’ll write my congressman and see what they are going to do about this. It is cold, it is hot. Is is the defining word in all of this. It depends on what ‘is’ means. I’m going to go outside and get some snow and make a pot of coffee with it today and fight global cooling here on my part of the nutty planet.

Oil prices are surging today. The heating bills may be a bigger problem than global warming. At least here in the frost belt.

I just put a pot of snow in the coffee maker. It makes heavenly coffee. I just built a new city while waiting for another cup. http://www.citycreator.com/
