one big glob — This link was sent to me by a skeptic who made me promise to to mention his name. It’s essentially a scathing anti-blog satire similar to the way old college humor magazines were done. Quite over-the-top. I have my suspicians as to who did it. It’s basically a condemnation of old school self-absored blog-centric blogs about blogging and blogs about bloggers. A phase.

He’s got a point in that the blog is not a muture form yet.
On the other hand, he’s not getting it. I’m not sure that the mainstream media would have even mentioned The Sony DRM fiasco (and Sony would not have changed its policies) if not for blogs and pods.
How about the Downing street memos?
Blogs seem to be partially filling (at least for now) the large hole in investigative reporting (which is getting larger every day). (See Times-Tribune layoffs).
