Can you predict her next move?

Cynthia McKinney Loses Runoff, But …

Georgia voters denied U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney re-election today….

With more than 90 percent of the precincts reporting in the 4th Congressional District Democratic runoff, challenger Hank Johnson had 59 percent against McKinney. The votes were slow coming in because of computer problems in DeKalb County, but once a bad computer hub was replaced, the votes began streaming in.

I was watching the coverage live starting at 10 p.m., and the local reporters were getting a little nervous because there were problems getting results from south Dekalb county. Apparently there were technical problems getting those electronic votes to upload. And south Dekalb county is HUGELY important for McKinney. Even though the results did start pouring in rapidly within an hour or so, I’m expecting McKinney to turn this delay into a big issue.

  1. xully says:

I predict she will play the race card, like when she punched the cop.

  2. Ben says:

Your absolutely right. Her opponent is a lighter shade of brown than she is so, he is practically white. Dang crackers trying to keep her down.

  3. Carl S. says:

Any Dem’ that doesn’t anything better to do in these current problems we find our butts in. needs to go.

Hopefuly with more dignity than Joe.

  4. Gibson says:

Since she can’t blatently use the race card since her opponent was also African American…she has to pull the “it’s because I’m a woman” card. But perhaps with just a hint of the race card with a “it’s because I’m a black woman”.

  5. Max says:

    She’s crazy.

  6. Dan says:

I predict hackers will destroy an electronic election in 2008.They will show how easy it is to “fix”an election.Check out Ohios off year elections to see what I mean.

  7. BdgBill says:

Why Why why is it so hard to build a reliable voting machine? Voting machine = secure counting machine!

Diebold seems to make most of the ATMS that I use. In about 25 years of almost daily ATM use I have never been short changed or won the Jackpot at an ATM. I have also heard very few stories of this kind of thing happening with ATM (considering the hundreds of millions of daily transactions).

Why didn’t they just start with their ATM tech and network to build voting machines?

Now this certified nut-job will be crying “vote irregularities” for god nows how long.

  8. Improbus says:

Why is it so hard to build a reliable voting machine?

It is not hard. Money is just more important than your vote.

  9. James Hill says:

Silly liberals, you’re supposed to fix the general election, not the primary.

    You guys…

  10. Zuke says:

She’s a fricken nut and needs to be bounced. Especially after that incident with the D.C. cop.

  11. Improbus says:

What we need now are giant squirrels to take care of all these nuts.

  12. RonD says:

“McKinney Blames Media, Machines For Loss”

She needs to blame herself. Before the primary she was a no-show for two televised debates. And during the primary returns coverage she was shown at her campaign hq with Cindy Sheehan dancing the “electric slide”, obviously expecting to win. Instead she ended up in a runoff with Mr. Johnson. I think Mr. Johnson nailed it when he said that McKinney did not take the election seriously until she found herself in a runoff. I still expect McKInney to file some sort of challenge because of the voting machine glitch.

  13. Podesta says:

Cynthia McKinney will return. Y’all have already forgotten that she lost to another dark-skinned Great White Hope previously, but did not let it keep her down.

As for her sanity, I suspect that it exceeds that of the bigots who are so eager to claim she is crazy.

I am no conspiracy theorist, but something is awry when there are so many voting machine problems. Perhaps just badly designed machines and/or software. Something, for sure.

  14. Mr. H. Fusion says:

So many bigots, so few anti-stupid pills to go around.

She has a legitimate gripe. The machines were screwed so the election is also. Maybe some of the above bigots willingly accept fraudulent elections, but just remember, next time it could be your guy.
