Hey there are no clouds in that picture & do not even get me started on the rule of thirds.

    JusJokin.

  2. Robin Holm says:

Also you should set the camera to Program or manual mode and set the ISO as low as possible to reduce the noise (since you no doubt are using a tripod).

  3. Gasparrini says:

No, I’m not using a tripod. That’s motion compensation.

  4. John says:

Let me be the first to say “nice pic”.

  5. green says:

Thanks for reminding why I don’t frequent this place anymore.

  6. Silk says:

Why do we need to see your uninteresting travel snapshots? They are not exposed properly, not composed very well, etc. They are boring.

  7. BubbaRay says:

Nice pic, Gasparrini. Was there mention on DU about the world’s cheapest monopod? Fishin’ line, a washer and a screw.

  8. ghm101 says:

#1 Andy – you beat me to the “you gotta photoshop some clouds in there” comment curse you

  9. bac says:

How many more people are going to submit photos? Is DU starting a version of Flickr?

The photo is good but could be better. A couple of changes would be to use a flash to give the foreground some light. This could also be done in photoshop. Another change would be to find a different perspective when photographing. For example, sit down or climb up on a bench so that not every photo you take is at the average human eye level.
