Just for our readers who represent the caring side of Xhristianity. :)

  1. Mister Mustard says:

Gee. A Christianity-bashing posting on dvorzhak dot org slash blog.

    This is unprecedented!

  2. You are right Mustard, we need a Christian pinata.

  3. keaneo says:

Shock, amazement. One of our professional xhristians doesn’t differentiate between poking fun at sectarian bigotry and christian-bashing.

Maybe the good preacher up above really does represent your own flavor of jeebus-love.

  4. Maybe this will help:

  5. moss says:

Rush is right. The BBC is the instrument of the devil.

  6. Mister Mustard says:

    >>Maybe this will help:

Are you recommending assassination, Tomato Head? Hmmm? Making terroristic threats? Do tell.

  7. Jess Hurchist says:

I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.14 and can’t see anything – not even a link.
Could be a missing add-on. Could be a corporate firewall. But I’ve got no way of finding out – any clues?

[It’s a YouTube video. You’ll need Flash installed. – ed.]

  8. Dallas says:

Ahh yes, the good old days of Christianity. As you can see they’re much nicer now since Pope Innocent IV in 1252.

Today, the torture chambers are not physical but the more discreet mental type.

  9. Mister Mustard says:

    >>I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.14 and can’t
    >>see anything – not even a link.

I’m using the same version, and it works like a charm. Must be your firewall….or maybe it’s a higher power telling you you shouldn’t view the video?

  10. Ricosauve says:

As a reformed catholic, I see this mentality in quite a few clergy. Especially the “leave a quid for upkeep” part.

#7, make sure your Flash player plugin is up to date.

  11. bobbo says:

#3–keano==exactly how do you make that distinction? Video strikes me as flat out Christian bashing. I don’t see any sectarianism going on.

Too bad though. The cut against Mustard was clever, but not supported by the video.

  12. moss says:

#7 – It could be AdBlock. I keep it set NOT to block at dvorak.org/blog. 🙂

You never can tell what you might see.

  14. keano says:

#11 – so, like the vicar, you think the new folks in town shouldn’t belong to your church? Or is it the other way round?

You do realize there is a question being asked here? Or do you think questions are unchristian?

  15. bobbo says:

#14–keano==the vicar OBVIOUSLY only wants true believers to visit his church. The couple is not fully committed and just a pair of “looky-loos” that most salesmen would immediately ignore.

No, I don’t recognize the question being asked if it is other than “have you already drunk the cool-aid because I have.” Is there another question?

Of course questions are unchristian. All questions are answered by mindless faith. Some strains of christian thought stress doubt and questioning==but they don’t fund building programs or priest retirment security.

So, where is the sectarian delineation verses general christian bashing?

  16. Mister Mustard says:

    >>so, like the vicar, you think the new folks
    >>in town shouldn’t belong to your church?

Everyone is welcome at my church. Check it and see.

And Tomato Head: You sure are breaking the rules a lot, even on an UNCENSORED web site. You must be a pretty nasty bastard.

  17. Yeah, it’s amazing how you can get away with your shit and I’m being censored.

[Personal attacks on other users will be deleted. – ed.]

  18. Mister Mustard says:

    >>Of course questions are unchristian. All
    >>questions are answered by mindless faith.

Bobster, your pathetic ignorance of Christianity is just appalling. So sad. You really should stop riding on Misanthropic Scottie’s coat-tails, and ask some questions of your own.

  19. Mister Mustard says:

    >>Yeah, it’s amazing how you can get away
    >>with your shit and I’m being censored.

Maybe that’s b/c you’re a [deleted], Tomato Head. I have something to say about spirituality, belief, faith, and I suppose AntiChrist Eideard enjoys having me around as a whipping boy. You’re just a vulgar pain in the ass.

  20. keaneo says:

Oh well. #15 – you’ve finally ridden the down elevator to sophistry. Have a pleasant and boring discussion.

    Back to work.

  21. bobbo says:

#19–Mustard==I don’t have any questions, except as above regarding keanos comment. Religion is obvious bunk. And if it turns out to be true, why it would even be more bunkier.

Any question that has an answer is found by science. Religion does parrot a number of interesting questions, but provides not a single answer–so what good is it?

  22. bobbo says:

    #21–keano==surprising.

  23. Relinquish says:

Yay!!! More arguments about how everyone else is wrong and an idiot because no one wants to talk about it. It only seems that everyone here just wants to bash each other. What is that all about anyway?

  24. Mister Mustard says:

    >>Religion is obvious bunk.

Ah, Bobster. Your hubris is breathtaking. For someone who knows so little, you are laboring under the misconception that you know more than all of civilization. So sad. I pity you.

  25. Mister Mustard says:

    >>#21–keano==surprising.

-Bobbo==you descended the down elevator to sophistry long, long ago. Why is keano’s comment “surprising”?

  26. You know what Mustard, people like you are the entire reason I lost faith. What a hypocritical righteous bastard you are and there are plenty out there just like you.

  27. bobbo says:

#24–Relinquish==it is odd. Keano calls it sophistry and runs away. Mustard will go 2 posts and then claim he is tired, YOU will post something totally incomprehensible leaving us all stunned into silence.

So==on what question does religion have an answer?==one not provided by science or philosophy devoid of religion?

  28. bobbo says:

#26–Mustard==because I know sophistry and there is no sophistry there==just open honest questions==you know questions, the life source of religion? (Note, sarcasm is not sophistry.)

  29. Mister Mustard says:

    >>FOAD!

Tee hee! Oh, Tomato Head, you’re killing me with your blubbering and spluttering. You’ve been pwnd, and you don’t even realize it.

    >>Mustard will go 2 posts and then claim
    >>he is tired,

Bobster, it’s only your incessant jibbering that makes me tired. Your -weird== punctuation///, your == pretzel == logic, your trolling, they all tire me out.

If you have something to say, why not just say it? Why waste 250 words saying something that could be as easily conveyed with 25? Have you thought about visiting a doctor for your verbal diarrhea?
