Elaine Fulps is thrilled about the prize she won at a baseball game in Dallas, Texas, but hopes she won’t have any need for it in the near future.
Fulps, 60, won a $10,000 funeral at the Grand Prairie AirHogs minor league game on Tuesday.
The prize will not expire until after Fulps does, said Ron Alexander, the sales manager at Oak Grove memorial gardens, which sponsored the event along with the baseball team and Irving’s Chapel of Roses funeral home.
Fulps said she would choose a coffin and plot as soon as she recovered from her latest surgery.
Finalists competed in a pallbearer’s race, a mummy wrap and a eulogy delivery.

Wow. 20 surgeries? She certainly qualifies for some kind of help.
Must have been Zombie night at the game.
Ew!
What was that ball club management thinking?
Take me out to the funeral plot.
Dig til yer 6 feet down.
Buy me a coffin and a nice plot.
I don’t care if I never come back.
Cause I’m dead!
Marketing gone wild. They should make a video.
