In the latest round of what’s become almost a winter tradition — conflicts over religious symbols in public places — a group of atheists and agnostics have put up a sign in the state Capitol that says, in part: “Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”
Freedom From Religion Foundation members put up the sign Monday, partly in response to a nearby Nativity scene. They also debuted a billboard in downtown Olympia that reads: “Reason’s Greetings.”

Nothing a human has ever percieved or conceived can be proven.
Wrong. I can prove that if I allow a specific scene to be exposed to the CCD in my camera for a specific length of time along with some other specific conditions I can create a decent picture. I can show that picture electronically on a monitor or print it out onto a hard copy.
Know that I can drive a nail with a hammer. Knowing the weight of the hammer, the resistance of the nail and wood I can even calculate just how far the nail will be driven in.
I know why that if I add some sodium bicarbonate to some vinegar I will get a bubbly reaction.
I also know that if I consume 3500 calories then lay around and only burn 2000 of those calories, the rest will be turned to more fat around my middle.
These things I know and can prove. I can also prove how an airplane can fly, farts smell sometimes, and why dogs can’t talk.
I would say science is just another system of faith (RELIGION).
And you would still be wrong but even more of an idiot. More telling is your knowledge of science and scientific principle.
