Here’s a Rubik robot from a couple of years ago.

  1. ± says:

    Awesome!
I solved it after 6 weeks of studying it an hour or so every night (with no instructions). After that I could do it any time in less than 5 minutes. Best time = 2:36. The smart people who can do it under 30 seconds are amazing.

  2. Faxon says:

    Swell.

  3. ? says:

    Steve Jobs can’t get it.

  4. chuck says:

    Interesting article here:
    http://newscientist.com/article/dn19301-god-couldnt-do-faster-rubiks-cube-mystery-solved.html

Basically, every possible scrambled arrangement of Rubik’s cube can be solved in a maximum of 20 moves.

  5. skeptic says:

Great. Now the Rubik’s Cube solvers will be put out of work. When will it ever end…

  6. ? says:

    iPhone, the phone that can’t.
    AT&T, the service that doesn’t.

  7. hhopper says:

That’s embarrasing when your phone can solve the Rubik’s Cube and you can’t.

  8. JimD says:

Don’t get too close to that machine, it will TWIST YOUR NUTS OFF !!!

  9. JoaoPT says:

Well, they are not really solving it.
First time I had a Rubik cube took forever solving it, and never managed to do it. Then somebdy gave me a piece of paper with some steps to solve it (an algorithm)and it became a physical thing. No thinking involved.
