This whole scandal is quite hilarious on its own, but the circumstances make it even more so – his name is Weiner, Wolf Blitzer holding the photo and showing it too him, and now this.
However, the funniest thing to me is how much it reminds me of the made-up scandal in the first few minutes of the Parks and Recreation episode “First Date”. I can’t find that clip online but it is one Netflix – brilliant episode.
I don’t care about Weiner sending out photos of his junk. This is a stupid distraction. It’s obvious that Weiner isn’t a smart man. You never send those type of pictures out with your face clearly showing. And you only send those out when requested by someone you know. And remember, once you give a picture to someone else, consider it out there for all to see.
Enough Already Dude needs to try a 140 character per post diet for a few weeks might help him collect his thoughts.

The should he resign thing, I guess not he seems to vote the way New York’s 9th District wants him to and he never ran on a family values plank. If he resigned would the 9th be unrepresented until a special election? Could Cuomo appoint some one that day? For Weiner to just resign and leave the 9th unrepresented with no vote for any bill would be some thing that would indeed effect his constituents.
Lets just be glad this dog and pony show so far has not had any real dogs or ponies involved.
Congress: Several hundred ambitious go-getter types who managed to get elected to positions of power and influence, living away from home most of the year. Is there anywhere a more likely recipe for shenanigans? As shenanigans go, Weiner’s seem small potatoes compared to actual affairs, secret children or using a “wide stance” in a public restroom.
That said, it’s all just more evidence that we’re all just a bunch of monkeys.

I don’t so it’s not my issue, but if I did I’d want someone in that seat representing us until the day a replacement can be sworn in. If that takes until the 2012 election so be it. And NY’s 9th maybe ok with this and forgive him.
