“See? I’m just a slave like youse guys..Opt out, Opt out!!!!!”

Former Bush Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld got an up close and personal lesson in exactly how much a pain in the balls Homeland Security can be this week.

On his way to former first lady Betty Ford’s funeral in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mr. Rumsfeld was pulled aside and patted down by TSA agents at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. In surprisingly good spirits about the situation, Rumsfeld tweeted the following message:

“It takes those of us with two titanium hips and a titanium shoulder a bit longer to get through TSA.”

Yeah sure, Rummy knows better than to trust that damned scanner.

Titanium has an inherent lack of a magnetic signature; how then did he set the detector off?

  2. cfk says:

Unless TSA is an acronym for ‘taser’, who cares? 😉

  3. The Pirate says:

All this proves is that the terrorists have won. It is sad that law enforcement, our elected politicians, and those that comply not only allow it, but actually assist the terrorists with the win.

Ben Franklin would be ashamed of the Rummy.

the most action old rummy boy had in years!

I guess he couldn’t get a, hum, friend to fork over a trip on a private jet.

Sucks not to be in power anymore, doesn’t it Rummy?

    Be a good slave and don’t fly…

The TSA’s got the plebes by the short-n-curlies.

    That’s your doing.

  6. Bob Hamilton says:

He should be on the Do Not Fly list as a wanted war criminal. They should have arrested him and turned over him to the Hague for trial along with Bush Cheney and Rove. Or better yet, sent to Gitmo for 8 years without any charges being filed while undergoing “enhanced interrogation” techniques. It’s an unknown unknowable why this guy is on the loose.
