Finally! Scientific proof positive that global warming is obviously real! Time for carbon trading, nuc-powered cars, and getting rid of cows and their methane producing, atmosphere destroying farts!

Climate change is a huge concern for many, many reasons: the ice caps are melting, droughts are sweeping the world and mega-hurricanes are striking cities that have never before had to weather such storms. But it’s only recently that climate change has threatened Australia’s hilarious but substantial kangaroo nutsack trade. The hopping marsupials’ scrotums, which are crafted into souvenir bottle-openers and key rings, have made manufacturer John Kreuger, hereby known (by me) as the King of Ballsacks, hundreds of thousands of dollars. These days, however, John’s trade is suffering due to a series of floods in Queensland – which some meteorologists believe to have been caused by climate change. The flooding has purportedly pushed kangaroos inland and away from the areas where they’re normally killed for their testicles.

      • msbpodcast says:

Well is because weather patterns are affected across interstellar space.

        How? Why?

        Because you’ll believe anything…

        • LibertyLover says:

          Really? Across interstellar space?

Well, if it does that, then it would surely work across interplanetary space, too.

Thanks. That cleared it right up.

Really, bobbo? I would have thought you’d find it, at least, interesting.

The fact is, the icecaps on Mars have been shrinking.

What causes imcreased atmospheric pressure on Pluto may simply be refected by the ionisphere here on Earth. Who knows?—I DON’T.

-Is there a global warming over past 200 years? – yes.
-From what are we warming? – From the coldest few centuries over last 10000 years.
-Is Earth warmer than average over 10000 years? No. We are still, despite 200 years of warming in 10% of coldest years over 10000 year period.
-Was Earth warmer than average during human history? – Many times. Collaboration of archeological and physical evidence.
-Was it terrible during these warm periods in human history? – just the opposite. All major civilization booms and prosperity periods coincide with much warmer than average periods.
-Was it terrible during colder than average periods? – yes. Major famines, wars, declines of civilization coincide with cold periods, including current one. WWII, WWI, Civil war, Napoleon,… Trade in kangaroo scrotums.
-At this pace of warming, when will we reach 10000 year average temperatures? – 300 more years. At this pace of warming we will be below average for generations to come.
-Does it matter what is warming us? – yes. Progressive nuts want human caused global warming as the “scientific” excuse for application of their oppressive controlling ideology. Abuse of both the science and the free people. Un-ideological science points to the proportion of high energy particles from Sun and space in general as the major factor controlling temperature of the Earth.

  8. deowll says:

The climate is changing. Big shock that. It has always been unstable. How much of that change is due to burning fossil fuels is very much open to debate especially since the “pause” in global warming that started about 16+ years ago after 15 yrs of warming while CO2 keeps on going up. My numbers suggest that unless you actually double the amount of CO2 at least once it isn’t going to have a clearly measurable impact. People who have never been told that global warming occurred wouldn’t even know global warming had occurred. So far the planting zone maps I use selecting which plants I can set out and which I can’t haven’t changed.

  10. Glenn E. says:

I seem to recall some loose talk about the magnetic poles shifting, a few years ago. Something that happens naturally every few thousand years. Because it shows up in the ocean floor core samples taken. As the tectonic plates shift, and new strata is formed. And they’re not sure, but such a shift could effect the weather.

But suddenly, you just don’t hear about that magnetic shifting anymore. It’s all human being’s fault that the weather is out of whack. Because obviously, we have no effect on the earth’s molten core, that’s responsible for the magnetic field. And I’m sure the scientists will now say, the magnetic field is so weak, it’s not significant enough to effect the earth’s weather.

But the less than 3% of the world’s total CO2, that humans generate. THAT’s significant enough to effect everything?! They’re might picky about what is significant, and what isn’t. Seems it’s always what human being can be blamed for, is significant. And whatever occurs naturally, even in vastly huger percentages, is not. Let’s just can it what it really is. The “science” of climate, these days. Is about making us all into scapegoats, whose guilt can be exploited. Politically and financially.

You’re all bad, because you live and breathe, and you’re ruining the earth. So hand over your money, because that will fix it. The biggest con job on earth, is about the earth. It’s one big ecological Pyramid scheme. With guys like Al Gore at or near the top. And all the rest of us, at the bottom. Slaving away to build and prop it up. Welcome back to the rule of the Pharaohs. Now get busy appealing those climate gods.

    • Tim says:

“With guys like Al Gore at or near the top” the poles may flip because the crust became unstable like when too many military bases are on Guam, causing it to capsize.

I’ll put you down as Devo.

  11. Tim says:

Yes, the general geomagnetic record is recorded well with the sea-floor spreading as the magma comes out of the cracks and hardens in the field, the orientation is then preserved and spread laterally away from the boundary.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%27s_magnetic_field#Magnetic_field_reversals

The magnetic field may affect climate due to it’s effect on cosmic rays and bits of solar wind — It is proposed that Mars lost its’ atmosphere because it first lost it’s field.

Some hold that solar activity interacts with Earths’ ‘dynamo’ like changing magnet orientation to each other to even enhance earthquakes {unlikely}.

There are transient field anomalies all over the place most likely because of the unique ordered interplay of a Muslims’ refrigerator magnets because all Muslims must face Mecca when getting out the breakfast juice.

As to ‘pole flip’, some hold that it is actually the crust of Earth suddenly slipping around the viscous interior mantle — A nice explanation for the Great Flood, indeed. Those who ascribe to this theory know that all will be well with them when it happens because they happen to have a rich great uncle on Nibiru.

  12. MikeN says:

New paper out confirming some details of the galactic cosmic ray theory, that the sun has caused global warming. The CO2-based scientific-technical complex is going to have to go into overdrive to keep the money and power flowing. Lucky for them the latest IPCC report is just about wrapped up.

  13. Mark says:

I can assure you that although the kangaroos may have moved away from floods, there are still hundreds and millions of the buggers out there.

    • msbpodcast says:

My (Canadian) uncle went to Australia in the 60s to hunt rabbit, really big, hungry and fast breeding fuckers too.

He and the rest of his crew used to ride on a moving flatbed truck filled with case upon case of shotgun shells and fire off the side of the truck into a fucking mass of bunnies.

He came back a changed man, and he never again wanted to eat rabbit again. (He called them bouncing locust.)

Earth has an atmosphere, Mars doesn’t. Do you think that factor makes a difference or not?

Most idiots wanting to compare other planets use Venus for that reason. At least there is an atmosphere on Venus. Care to guess if there are any significant differences though that negate any simple comparison? You know—like your brain to a Kangaroo’s Nutsack? One useful, the other not????

    • Just Dave says:

The atmosphere of Mars is over 95% carbon dioxide, 95.32% to be exact. The breakdown of gases goes like this:

      Carbon dioxide 95.32%
      Nitrogen 2.7%
      Argon 1.6%
      Oxygen 0.13%
      Carbon monoxide 0.07%
      Water vapor 0.03%
      Nitric oxide .0013%
      Trace gases(including krypton, methane, etc)

Says the guy who ignores studies that don’t agree with his thinking, calling them disappointing.

  15. deowll says:

Actually the floods were on time and part of what’s been going on down under for some time. It just didn’t match up with the projections of people who put way to much stock in the modals created by the anthropogenic warming crowd.

The IPCC crowd has stuck disclaimers all over their more recent work but they are still 95% confident. Of course their job is literally to figure out how to mitigate anthropogenic warming so they are stuck with it even if the warming pauses for 16+ years and the costs outweigh the benefits of doing something that isn’t projected to have a meaningful impact on climate.
