35—Its true that is “about” what ONE religious cleric said in Egypt I believe. ((Dont care enough to search the blog for it==but about a week ago.)) Sad part is that once the idiots pronouncement was published and got notoriety, it was rejected by other religious authorities.

Because the same religious authority has never come out to criticize the “so called extremists” of the sects. Not the bombers, they have been generally condemned (aka words in the wind) but those calling for the explusion of Israel and the ultimate goal of strict Muslim religion controlling society whereever it is—ie, the whole world not including Greenland and the South Pole.
What is the “inherent nature” of the Muslim religion?? Not breast feeding strangers, but yes–women in burqua’s and one world religion with no freedom of thought. Grab your socks.

I worked in Jakarta, Indonesia for many years and there Saudi men and women do sit together. The Indonesians call the Saudi women ‘Ninjas’ due to how they look.
From my observation the first thing Saudi men do upon arrival is look for the Indonesia girls and booze – IN THAT ORDER. I worked for a private hotel / karaoke group which owned a resort Island and there were soooo many Saudi men doing just that. Some of the Saudi men I spoke to said they didnt like how their country is but in the words of Home Simpson…”What’l ya gonna do…”
In Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim country, the general population have no real problem with alcohol and other such non-approved Islamic activities – except eating pork but the radicals and another issue similar to the people bombing abortion clinics while thumping Bibles.

The problem with the Islamic radicals is that the genral Islamic population cannot speak out about them – this is something they cannot do. Many Indonesians I spoke to are so horrified by the radicals but are frustrated that as a good Muslim they cannot do anything. They know that this is crazy but…What’l ya gonna do?
PS: Don’t blindly believe what CNN says…Point: I was in Indonesia during the riots and while it was very terrible it wasnt quite what the media presented. If you lived in Indonesia for as long as I have (7 years) you would understand.
