Ann Coulter performing her “mime in a box” act

Raw News – Thursday October 11, 2007:

Coulter’s comments came during Monday’s episode of CNBC’s The Big Idea, but received little notice until Media Matters’ report Wednesday and the NJDC’s criticism Thursday.

Host Donny Deutsch asked Coulter what her ideal picture of America looked like and she recalled the 2004 Republican convention in New York City.

“People were happy. They’re Christian. They’re tolerant. They defend America,” she said.

Deutsch asked, “It would be better if we were all Christian?” Coulter replied “yes,” and reitereated her declaration again later in the interview, although she denied wanting to wipe all Jews off the map.

“We just want Jews to be perfected, as they say,” Coulter said

  1. blocked ears says:

I cannot listen to her anymore.Ever. Boycotting her is the best idea I’ve heard in a long time and I’ll do my bit. Except for this post though….
Dusting hands off and walking away..

  2. bobbo says:

As a general proposition, any country is better off “as a country” the more homogenous it is. Therefore, the GOUSA would also be better off if we were all Jewish and the Protestants could be perfected?

I would rather see Spanish as the official language of GOUSA rather than go down the road in dual mode. Its only because more people speak english that after calling for one language, I’d go with english.

    Same for the metric system.

  3. The Monster's Lawyer says:

She’s a mime too? Just another reason to hate her.

  4. JoaoPT says:

Ok, some more enlightened opinions here:

Is that some kind of WonderBra, or do you think she has implants…?

… I mean, when I look at her hands she looks like one step from anorexia…

  5. uzam says:

@# 23. It is “Fight them” not kill them. and read the preceding and the following verses also to get the picture.

  6. Ben Waymark says:

If I go around saying outrageous things all the time can I make bucket loads of money too just like whats-her-name does…. what is her name again? Is it Ann Coulter or Ayn Rand? I always get the two mixed up…. same shit different decade I suppose….

  7. Ben Waymark says:

    23. Ivor Biggun Isn’t it the goal of EVERY religion to convert people to their faith?

    No, its not.

  8. Dallas says:

I’d love to punch that obscene, drag queen looking GOP whore in the neck.

  9. doug says:

#42. Yep. There is more than one religion that you have to be born into or are otherwise tough to get into. The proselytizing ones tend to be the most irritating and/or dangerous.

  10. RSweeney says:

Perhaps one should actually read the Bible before throwing stones at Ann Coulter. She is not a bigot, she is a witness, honestly expressing her faith.

It may be discomforting, but she is correct. Let’s not forget that the foundation of Christianity were those ethnic Jews who accepted Christ as Messiah, moving on from Judaism to Christianity. Moving on to the forgiveness of the new covenant with God as expressed by his (born Jewish) son.

  11. OhForTheLoveOf says:

    #45 – Blow me.

  12. Mr. Fusion says:

    #45, RS,

Perhaps one should actually read the Bible before throwing stones at Ann Coulter.

Why? I want to stone the effen bigot now, not after reading some fairy tales in Middle English.

  13. Ben Waymark says:

    47. Mr. Fusion Why? I want to stone the effen bigot now, not after reading some fairy tales in Middle English.

Okay, how about a compromise, you could read the Bible WHILE stoning the bigot? 😀

  14. MikeN says:

I don’t see anything controversial in what she said. That is standard Christian vs Jew fare. Note that in the same interview she said ehr ideal Democrat is Joseph Lieberman. So she must have a different definition of perfected than you.
