Ann Coulter performing her “mime in a box” act
Raw News – Thursday October 11, 2007:
Coulter’s comments came during Monday’s episode of CNBC’s The Big Idea, but received little notice until Media Matters’ report Wednesday and the NJDC’s criticism Thursday.
Host Donny Deutsch asked Coulter what her ideal picture of America looked like and she recalled the 2004 Republican convention in New York City.
“People were happy. They’re Christian. They’re tolerant. They defend America,” she said.
Deutsch asked, “It would be better if we were all Christian?” Coulter replied “yes,” and reitereated her declaration again later in the interview, although she denied wanting to wipe all Jews off the map.
“We just want Jews to be perfected, as they say,” Coulter said

so, this Donny Deutch actually couldn’t believe she said it? where the hell’s he been? Coulter’s MO is to say outrageous things and coast all the way to the bank on the resulting free publicity.
#1 got that right.
As they say “there’s a new sucker born every minute”, and this lady has found the motherload…
So Dvorak dislikes Jews less than he likes Christians. All she said was that the nation would be better if everyone was Christian. If someone said the nation would be better if we were all atheist I doubt he would be reporting/criticizing it. See ya in hell, John. From heaven.
Don’t give this hag the attention she craves.
Did you guys actually read the transcript at all?
Coulter herself realized what she said after she said it and tried to backtrack. Maybe Fox and others will finally stop bringing her on their shows…
Ummm,
Someone needs a life outside of Church..
I bet she dont even know that there are over 20 versions of Christianity…
Ok, lady..
Walk out into any city center…and ASK…WHO IS CHRISTEN…
THROW here to the LIONS…
I’m so glad that we live in a nation where even nuts like this are allowed to speak thier mind. I think it was Lincoln that said something like “Better to be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.” Let the fools speak so we know who they are!
#3 clearly you don’t get it — no one was offended about her saying the whole nation should be Christian, that’s a matter of opinion
what’s offensive is her comment that jews need to be “perfected” which means that she believes that there is something fundamentally wrong with the character of jewish people.
she is advocating the perception that jewish people are a lesser people
and unless you’re a total moron, you’ll recognize that as the very definition of bigotry and prejudice.
This just proves that Man Coulter is a bigot. Don’t give her any recognition.
We cannot get rid of Ann Coulter for the same reason that Christians cannot get rid of Jews. We come from her as Christians come from Jews.
To get rid of Ann Coulter we have to get rid of free speach. We have to take the good with the bad. So get rid of Ann but get rid of free speach also and we get we got before free speech (I’ll leave that up to you to imagine what that’s like).
Let’s say all Jews were wiped off the face of the earth. That means that if one day Christians were wiped of the face of the earth then there could never be a single Christian in the future to be reborn because Jesus was a Jew. Wipe away Jews and you wipe away Jesus. Wipe away Jesus and you wipe away Christianity. Wipe away Christianity and you wipe away Ann Coulter. Wipe away Ann Coulter and you wipe away free speech. Wipe away free speech and you wipe away America.
Freedom depends on Jews. Jews know that and that is why their force is as strong as gravity. Gravity is not as strong as the other forces that exist but it is faster than light. It is the origin of Man. And woMan like Ann.
It is interesting how faith brings unrest in the world. People cannot accept other peoples beliefs if they differ from their own.
Ann is no different in her beliefs then what Hitler believed in. He wanted a nation being all the same in their beliefs. Sorry to both of you. It just does not work that way. I think this is why we make little progress in Muslim nations. We simply do not try and accept their beliefs. Maybe to some extent they also have the same problem in understanding Christians. But one thing is certain. This problem has gone on for a very long time and will continue. Especially with people like Ann around telling everyone her beliefs are right and your wrong.
Actually, if she had gone one step further and called for the elimination of all Jews, she would stand a very good chance of being invited to speak at Columbia University where half of the students would welcome her with open arms.
oh and btw — one only needs to examine the 20th century history of northern ireland to see how civil and accepting and all-christian society can truly be
Hey. Leave Ann alone. What you’re all saying is prejudicial against blonde females the world over! There is nothing wrong with being blonde and female. Some of my best friends are blonde cunts. The dumb ones give the bitchy ones a bad name.
The voice of love and compassion from another “good” Christian… It just warms the heart…
This is one of the reasons several countries have laws against hate speech. That may not appeal to those who believe in “Free Speech”. It removes the platform from those who would use their free speech rights to feed fellow bigots.
FOX Spews will keep her. She attracts and appeals to a huge segment of their demographic.
>>If only people stopped paying attention to people like her.
People who matter already have.
First- how is it that she has bigger balls than me? I thought that was biologically impossible!
Second- nearly every Jew I have heard of, seen, read about or met was a proud, elitist person to some degree, who looked down on me and others who were not Jewish. This attitude IS primitive and a sign of an unenlightened individual. A Jew who submits himself to something in humility (say, possibly Jesus?) will be a better human for it. They should follow her advice and become Christians.
So Ann Coulter should be excoriated for reading and following the bible? But then again Jesus was savagely attacked for saying “Follow Me”. The plain truth here is that Ann, being a good Christian, is putting her faith into action. Isn’t it the goal of EVERY religion to convert people to their faith? Hell, the damn Muslims believe non-Muslims should DIE!!!! What if Annie had said that???
To hell with political correctness.
Non Christians are not going to heaven. Read your bible for that one. John 14:6…
#23 Biggun,
Opposition to bigotry and prejudice and the belief that religious freedom carries the responsibility to respect the faith of others is commonly mistaken for “political correctness.”
Actually it’s common courtesy and basic respect for your fellow man — and it is the way a gentleman should carry himself.
I respect the right of others to their own faith. I never said otherwise. I do not believe that non-Christians are going to heaven. The bible is crystal-clear on that. As a Christian, I am charged to bring all the people that I can to believe in Jesus as their savior. My previous statement expressed no disrespect to anyone. Is it not true that the Quran states that non-muslims should die? What kind of gentlemanly respect is that?

i think that your bible also tell you to judge not, lest you be judged, it also reminds you to only cast stones if you yourself are free from sin
and as the bible teaches us — we are all sinners — so keep your judgments to yourself — god is watching and i bet he might find it a presumptuous of you to imply that simply by being christian, that your entry through the pearly gates is guaranteed
now go re-read matthew for instructions on how to keep your prayers private, then marvel at how all your screaming preachers are chastised therein.
thanks.
Who judged? I stated facts. My prayers _are_ private. My faith is not. Oh, by the way, JESUS was quite presumptuous too. I’ll take his lead, not anyone else’s.
Coulter is an attention whore who cries all the way to the bank after she gets slapped down for her outrageous pranks.
#26 grog says… “now go re-read matthew for instructions on how to keep your prayers private, then marvel at how all your screaming preachers are chastised therein.”
I would also include Christians who advocate public school prayer to those screaming preachers as people who should read their Bible (possibly for the first time). Most Christians seem oblivious to the fact that Jesus expressed disdain for public prayer.
@ 26 – “i think that your bible also tell you to judge not, lest you be judged, it also reminds you to only cast stones if you yourself are free from sin”
Two common quotes from the Bible, frequently taken out of context; even Metallica uses it for lyrics,
” god is watching and i bet he might find it a presumptuous of you to imply that simply by being christian, that your entry through the pearly gates is guaranteed”
Now YOU go and read Matthew, and you’ll see that simply being a christian IS enough to guarantee entry into heaven.
If, as most fundamentalists Christians, one believes that the Bible has absolute authority, then one cannot help but believe what A.C. stated. (This statement is not intended as proof/disproof of the Bible’s accuracy, but a clarification of fundamentalism.)
There are several times that the New Testament attributes statements of exclusivity to Jesus and his followers. Examples include John 10:7, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, and Phillipians 2:8-10.
Most monotheistic religions that adhere strictly to their religious texts will be exclusive in nature. How one handles the “infidel” is where a huge difference lies. Jesus told his followers to “kill ’em with kindness”, While Mohammed told his followers to kill ’em… any way you can.
>>Now YOU go and read Matthew, and you’ll see that simply being a
>>christian IS enough to guarantee entry into heaven.
Heh. If Ann Coulter is a “Christian”, I’ll take an eternity of damnation in a burning lake of fire, thank you very much.
#23 – Non Christians are not going to heaven.
You aren’t going to Heaven either because Heaven, like Hell, God, Jesus, etc., is a fairy tale.
#30 – I suggest you go and read the bible and you will see Jesus condemned many who “CALLED’ themselves christians. Read Matthew the 7th chapter and get back to me.
Something about wolves in sheeps clothing and some saying they were doing Jesus work, but he told them to get away from him.
The US isn’t even close to a Christian nation. I’ll bet less than 2% of US citizens pick up a bible and read it each day (or week). The US is secular. It’s religion is nationalism and money. Get over it.
