Mexico is demanding that U.S. Border Patrol agents stop using tear gas to protect themselves against increased attacks as they try to keep illegal immigrants from entering the United States.
Mexico’s Foreign Ministry also requested a U.S. probe into an incident last month where 15-year-old Cristian Saldana was struck in the nose by a tear gas canister after he threw stones at U.S. agents trying to stop people from crossing illegally from the Mexican border city of Tijuana near San Diego…
Border-wide assaults on agents reached a record 250 between October 1 and December 16 last year, according to the latest U.S. figures.
I could suggest substitutes for tear gas; but, they probably wouldn’t be considered politically correct either.
Call Mr mexico, and tell him / her we’ll stop using tear gas and start using bullets. Why can’t we have a war with Mexico? I wanna see America win for a change.
1) How exactly are these “illegal immigrants” hurting “our” country?
2) Who’s country is this? Is it the German immigrants’ or the British immigrants’? Or maybe the Italian immigrants’? Maybe we should ask the Seminole what they think. Oh wait, the European immigrants’ ancestors eradicated them. Never mind.
3) When exactly did it become “illegal” to immigrate to thus country that was stolen by force from aboriginal people? 1810? 1850? It must have been early on, right? No, 1921! And the quotas were completely arbitrary by nationality.
There’s never been one shred of evidence that unlimited immigration harms the country. It’s an entirely bigoted policy to keep the country’s white, English-speaking majority in power. Mexicans aren’t trying to “invade” the country. They’re simply trying to get a better life for themselves and their families the same way all of the other immigrants in the US did before 1921. Just let them in and be done with this silly crap.
These are NOT immigrants. They are merely migrants and there is a difference. Throwing rocks accross the border is an act of aggression and should be dealt with accordingly.
If you don’t have a problem with unlimited imigration prepare to learn Chinese because they really do want to come here and they will show you what working hard really looks like.
The Mexican immigrants are victims, because they are being screwed for wages and benefits in the US for their work.
The American people are victims, because they are having their wages depressed and the true value of their labor undercut by desperate, third world laborers.
Even the Canadian’s are victims, because the massive deficit these business favoring (and utterly illegal) immigration policies have made such a mess of our economy that American leaders are now eyeing their resources as a fix. You spend a lot of time worry with this illegal immigration stuff, think about the things that your government do to the people of the countries in middle east, it’s more productive.
There is a lot of problems in Africa and South America (Colombia and Venezuela), why the USA doesn’t care about it? Cause there isn’t a lot of petroleum in this countries, maybe?

I agree Eduardo. This situation seems engineered to get the American people to distrust dark skinned people even more, and, unfortunately, many of us are such suckers that we can’t see that the same people hiring these people at half wage are also supporting the hate mongering.

1. Illegal immigrants produce a net deficit to society through crime, the taking of jobs that legal immigrants or Americans would perform and the use of services for which they pay nothing.
2. This country is defined by its citizenry and legal immigrants as well as its geographic borders. While the origins of citizens and legal immigrants is diverse, the common thread is that they abide by the same laws including tax laws, minimum wage laws and laws revolving around identification.
3. It became illegal to immigrant when controls (which is not the same thing as a limit) were put on immigration. Once that happened, anyone subverting that control was committing a crime. I do not have a specific date, but I would suspect it was around the turn of the last century.
RE: Unlimited immigration.
What you are suggesting is the complete dismantling of borders and any border controls. Unfortunately, there is a very real risk is having no control over who comes into the country. Further, how to do impose law and taxes on people that immigrate to this country? There is no means to verify any sort of information or documentation provided by people from other countries so that creates an even bigger hole for false identification than already exists.
The moment you decide that some sort of control over who enters the country is necessary, you must then determine how you will handle people that subvert that control.

Even certifiably evil people often have completely correct ideas about various things – rejecting their words because of who they come from rather than what the ideas actually are is falling for the ad hom. fallacy. It may make you feel all virtuous, but it won’t get you a micron closer to the truth.
Good words. So I guess we should break open the collected works of the various German Doctors that experimented on live humans. I’m sure some of their work may be useful and contribute at least a tad to our knowledge. It could also make the lives of those who were tortured a little more meaningful.
On the other hand, by NOT seeing some truth in those who are truly evil, we spare ourselves the risk of also quoting pretty garbage or being seduced by innocent phraseology.
Before I was sidetracked, I was thinking that some long range rubber bullets might help. If I was a border guard, I wouldn’t want to be ordered to shoot people on sight.

1) Businesses are never fined for hiring illegals
2) Predatory economic trade policies (NAFTA)
3) Export jobs to Communist China instead of Mexico
4) Treat our Mexican allies like an enemy even though they buy all their weapons and a large chunk of their imported goods from the USA
5) Pander to conservative christian racists who believe in a whites only society.
