Wouldn’t it be better to find a Democrat to replace Obama who could beat any Republican? Or for Obama to govern better (that should be easy) so that he could win fair and square? This is either a joke that some are taking seriously or after their November bashing, Dems are looking for a Hail Mary to hold on to the WH.
What is the purpose of your web site [PrimariesForPalin.com]?
Our purpose is to have Democrats and Independents help to nominate Sarah Palin as the Republican candidate for president in state primaries. In numerous head-to-head polls, Palin is the only likely Republican candidate who would soundly lose to Obama in the general election. All other likely Republican candidates either beat Obama or are statistically tied with Obama. If Palin is nominated, Obama’s chances for reelection are greatly improved. How can a few thousand votes in each state make a difference?
Since several Republicans will likely run for the presidential nomination, it will be easier to influence that vote because of the number of candidates. A few thousand extra votes for Palin could make a difference. In Iowa in 2008, Huckabee beat Romney by approximately 11,000 votes. In New Hampshire in 2008, McCain beat Romney by approximately 13,000 votes. Are you afraid of Palin winning the presidency?
We are afraid of any Republican winning the presidency. However, having Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee gives Obama the best chance at reelection. While having Palin so close to the presidency is a bit of a calculated risk, numerous polls show that Obama would soundly defeat Palin.
Here’s one take on the website. Here’s one from Alaska.

Uncle Patso==good fair what i expected type of comment. But I don’t “just” call someone a name and in my experience most, but not all, people who allow a discussion to be sidetracked by name calling rarely have anything of merit to contribute anyway. More poisonous to reason, discourse and civilized behavior than name calling coupled with the reasons is a damn lie/misinformation/spinning gaining respect for not being called for what it is.
Besides, it amuses me, which is all too frequently the only pleasure I take from the comments section. As we all do, take what you will, and leave the rest.
Yea, veerily.
>The insurance companies got Obama to nix the “public option,”
No, they didn’t. It was Joseph Lieberman that nixed the public option. If they had one more vote, then the public option would still be there.
# 72 chris said, “…he never did close gitmo(in #64) you respond that he should get credit anyway, because he wanted to.”
Good enough for the Nobel Committee.
#81 Um, we know what fascism is.
Answer the man.
#84 Ah I see. Therefore Obama opposes liberalism as a bourgeois position. Now it all makes sense.
>So you’re saying Obama is weaker than Lieberman?
Nope, try again.
>Obama caved in all by himself on the marquee project of his first(only?) term
He did? I guess he didn’t sign a health care bill then!
Alphie,
This blog is irrelevant, Obama can’t run in 2012:
Bills in 4 States Require Birth Certificates For 2012 Election

Obama, you can run but you can’t hide.
You’re quite right. Your blog is irrelevant. And wrong. Hawaii has said Obama was born there. Under the United States Constitution, a document you are probably unfamiliar with, ALL other States are bound to accept Hawaii certification. see Article IV, sec. 1
And you do realize that all court challenges have been dismissed. Did you forget the $20,000 fine to Orly Tates?
And you are still a moran.
chris, because of the baby boomers, 7000 Americans per day will be enrolled in Medicare in 2011.
I don’t get this birth certificate thing. I always thought that if you had one parent who was a US citizen, you were considered a US citizen no matter where you happened to be born.
Am I completely wrong on this?
Blind Stevie, I can’t believe you just wrote that. 😉
Blind Stevie, that’s only true now. At the time Obama was born the rules were a bit different, and so he just missed the automatic citizenship thing, because of how old his mother was at the time or something like that.
Blind–easy to google the issue. I read quite a convincing rant on the issue. Very intricate as one of the worms in foobar’s can is that your one American Citizen has to be residing in the USA for some critical time and Mamma Obama was oversea’s alot.
but what the rant skimmed over was that Obama was born in fricken Hawaii, to a US citizen. A nice bit of diversion the entire rant is but very informative on a few of the worms in the can.
Up shot, the answer isn’t in the can of worms. Ha, ha.
As infotainment, I’m really interested in what’s going to transpire before the State of the Union address. Tea Partiers coming to grips with the Nat Debt Limit. Bills to defund Health Care perhaps even passed by the Senate relying on Obama to veto it. I believe this is called “fiddling while Rome burns.”
In a parallel universe, anytime a dumb ass LIEberTARDian pushed for social anarachy, he would find himself trapped forever thereafter in the consequences of his own design. I can hear the screams now over the time/space portal. Real dogmatic asshats all.
Vote Democratic–its bad, very bad==but not as bad.
Yea, veerily.
#93, Lyin’ Mike.
Nope. Obama was born in Hawaii. His birth was certified by the Hawaii Secretary of State. The only possible court that can change that is a court in Hawaii.
And it don’t matter two shits what the hell you or any other right wing nut thinks. Challenging the Hawaii Sec. of State in any other court, including a Federal Court, would fail on Constitutional grounds, for the exact reasons I pointed out above in #89.
Raising this controversy again only shows how desperate the right wing nuts are. It is quite in keeping with their penchant to make crap up.
Ha, ha. Mike==you are lying aren’t you? Born in the USA, everything else is irrelevant. I guess you didn’t know you were in foobar’s can of worms when reading that red herring?
The concept of “Statute of Limitations” has nothing to do with the truth but is viable because it saves time and energy. Saves, as in, doesn’t waste it.
If issues of citizenship are not resolved by the day of election: too bad. Next issue.
Did you see the freshman tea partiers hiring lobbyists for their staff and throwing a fund raising party at a Washington hotel for the PAC?
They haven’t even been sworn in yet and they already have their snouts in the trough. Snort.
I woul dlike even better to see “Dems_for_Bachmann_Primary.com”….
Even more entertaining debates.
