I understand some unpatriotic Americans forsook the all-American game to watch a rigged “who cares?” Presidential so-called debate. SHAME!

Romney: “Our Navy is smaller now than at any time since 1917. The Navy said they needed 313 ships to carry out their mission. We’re now at under 285…We’re headed down to the low 200s if we go through a sequestration. That’s unacceptable to me.”
Well, that was quite a performance by Romney. He kept agreeing with Obama’s handling of many issues while not only stating positions that were opposite from previous statements of his, he argued that he never held those previous positions. Bizarre! Oops. Sorry. This is politics. Nothing new.

According to reports, the TSA is removing backscatter full-body scanners, which use very small amounts of ionizing radiation, from major airports and replacing them with less-controversial millimeter wave scanners. But those X-ray scanners aren’t going to the Museum of Bad Ideas; they’re being shipped off for use at smaller airports.

The TSA says that privacy and health concerns were not behind its relocation of the backscatter devices. Instead, it’s a matter of staffing requirements and processing time. Millimeter wave scanners seem to offer a more expedient and efficient scan of passengers. Which of course makes us wonder why the TSA would continue spending money on the backscatter devices.
Does that mean those who live near smaller airports are less lightly to ‘opt out?’
The focus of a fierce suburban congressional battle turned from the economy to abortion literally overnight following Republican Rep. Joe Walsh’s controversial declaration that there’s no medical necessity to use the procedure to save a woman’s life.
Those who did were probably too stoned to get off the couch without the incentive.
Fliers offering $40 worth of free medical-grade marijuana were reportedly passed out in Eagle Rock to try and draw residents to vote in the local election. Was the free pot an incentive to get a larger turnout? Politics ranked “high” on resident’s list of priorities. Nearly 10 times as many voters – 792 residents – turned out to the polls during the recent Neighborhood Council elections than last year.
“It’s a little weird that people can’t come out and vote on their own. I see that as a problem, as a social symptom,” Eagle Rock resident Joerael Elliott said.

The fliers asked citizens to support the Progress and Collaboration Slate, which ran against the neighborhood council’s opposition to pot dispensaries. The council had tried to ban pot dispensaries but residents collected enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot, the Patch reported.

SEATTLE (CBS SEATTLE) – A Seattle school has banned students from celebrating a new holiday this year: Halloween.
Lafayette Elementary School has decided to not allow students to dress up in costume for Halloween this year. And there is still some discrepancy between parents and the administration as to why the ban has been implemented this fall.
The decision was first reported by the district (Seattle Public Schools) as being a preventative measure in the event that Halloween costumes could offend and upset students who come from other cultures. Dozens of parents complained to the school over the measure demanding a detailed explanation.
These people have lost their sense of humor, pity.

Before the clock even had a chance to strike midnight, the death threats against Mitt Romney were already flooding the internet.
After the second round of the presidential debates, the social media website Twitter was simply aflame with hatred and threats against the life of former Massachusetts governor and current Republican candidate for president, Mitt Romney.
In the meantime, Liberal talking heads are expressing their collective outrage at the Twitter-ers. LOL!
