Here’s the transcript of the segment.
Members of Congress and their aides have regular access to powerful political intelligence, and many have made well-timed stock market trades in the very industries they regulate. For now, the practice is perfectly legal, but some say it’s time for the law to change.
THE might of the US military has arrived in Canberra ahead of President Barack Obama’s visit to the national capital on Wednesday.
A C-17 Globemaster which is believed to have on board the President’s Cadillac limousine, dubbed the Obamamobile, touched down on Saturday.
The car travels the world with the President and can reportedly repel any kind of attack, including one using chemical weapons. A US Marine Corps Black Hawk helicopter was patrolling over the nation’s capital yesterday and US officials have been in Canberra for days planning the trip.

I can’t quite explain it, but between this, Occupy Wall Street, and the statements from the Republican candidates, there’s something oddly hilarious about this.
Atlas Productions LLC announced today its plan to replace more than 100,000 title sheets appearing on the Atlas Shrugged Part 1 DVD and Blu-ray versions sold through major retail outlets. These retail versions were packaged with an inaccurate synopsis of Atlas Shrugged. […] The 1957 novel, Atlas Shrugged, is known in philosophical and political circles for presenting a cogent argument advocating a society driven by rational self-interest. On the back of the film’s retail DVD and Blu-ray however, the movie’s synopsis contradictorily states “AYN RAND’s timeless novel of courage and self-sacrifice comes to life…”
[…]
Harmon Kaslow, CEO of Atlas Productions and Producer of the film stated “As we all well know, the ideas brought to life in Atlas Shrugged are entirely antithetical to the idea of ‘self-sacrifice’ as a virtue. Atlas is quite literally a story about the dangers of self-sacrifice. The error was an unfortunate one and fans of Ayn Rand and Atlas have every right to be upset… and we have every intention of making it right.”

The new title sheet will more accurately read “AYN RAND’s timeless novel of rational self-interest comes to life…”
Having tried some of these crazy hot peppers, I do feel his pain. It’s one of those things you almost have to train for.

The agony of the feet continues in Canada.
British Columbia has been plagued by human feet, eight of which have recently washed ashore in the province, with another appendage found on the shore of Sasamat Lake near Port Moody on Friday, The Vancouver Sun reports.
This is at least the ninth foot discovered in British Columbia since 2007, according to The National Post. By other counts, there have been a dozen feet found.
The case of the mysterious feet has vexed authorities and the public, with details of the latest find differing from its predecessors in two ways, the CBC says.
The ninth foot, found last Friday by a child at a camp, was in a body of fresh water. All the previous feet, believed to have come from six different people, were in saltwater. And unlike the first eight, which were inside running shoes, the latest foot was in a hiking boot, media outlets said.
Like the earlier incidents, investigators don’t suspect foul play in the latest discovery, The Globe and Mail reports. Medical examiners believe the feet separated from dead bodies due to natural causes.
A “time and motion consultant” who filmed himself having sex with his girlfriend was cleared of voyeurism after a jury accepted he was attempting to study his own technique.
It is strange that Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar never prosecuted Jerry Sandusky on child-rape charges 13 years ago, some speculate, because Gricar was known for being fiercely independent and hard on crime.
But it is even stranger that we cannot ask Gricar why Sandusky was not put behind bars, because the tough-as-nails district attorney disappeared in 2005. And though he was declared dead July of this year, his body has never been found. This district attorney had “a bitter taste in his mouth for the [Penn State] program, and its coach,” according to his nephew, and never prosecuted Sandusky. He disappeared on April 15, 2005 after telling his girlfriend that he was going on a drive. Ray Gricar’s car was found the next day in a Lewisburg parking lot and his laptop, sans hard drive, was found in the Susquehanna River, according to the Patriot-News.
Ray Gricar’s friend, Montour County District Attorney Robert Buehner Jr., told the New York Times that if the ardent district attorney had committed suicide, he would have wanted his body found. But in the case of possible foul play, no suspects have emerged from investigations.
